Discover the beauty of a traditional Chilean crafting technique called ‘Crin de Caballo’ which makes intricate and colourful jewellery and decorative items using fine horsehair.

Rari is a remote village in the Maule region, 6 hours south of Santiago. The art of Crin has been handed down through generations of women in the village over hundreds of years, but is in danger of dying out. With the help of UNESCO this unique tradition will be kept alive and the welfare of the women in Rari supported.
